For some strange reason I kept thinking of Martha Graham, the woman who developed contemporary dance technique as a juxtaposition It s strange because contemporary dance is a dance form I don t quite understand I always feel like I m missing something I ve been feeling that way about a lot of the things I ve been reading lately, so maybe it s just some sort of thing I m going through I feel like H.D would have been an excellent, award winning blogger if she had been around now. I liked Kora and Ka but LOVED Mira Mare. H.D s novellas are short and rich in imaginary their cultural and theological implications connect with her Freudian interpretation at the time that resembles Joyce s epiphany and Woolf s moments of being.
